Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. (Proverbs 16:3 NIV)

When God places a dream in your heart, it’s more than a great idea; itโ€™s a divine seed with the potential to transform lives. But every God given dream comes with a call to action, which requires seeking instructions.

The mistake many Christians make is that, too often, we receive a vision from God and assume it will fulfill itself automatically. But even Joseph, with his dreams from God, had to walk through a journey of preparation, service, and timing before stepping into his God ordained purpose. To realise our God given dream or purpose, we must learn from others. Find those who are already doing what you aspire to do. Sit at their feet, ask questions, and observe. God often uses people as vessels of wisdom to communicate pathways to our divine destinations.

Also, preparation is the antidote to failure, and we must be prepared at all times. David was anointed as king long before he ruled. He spent years growing in skill, faith, and leadership in the wilderness. God honors preparation. This is the reason why soldiers train very hard during times of peace so they can be ready when war finally comes.

Take a step of faith and start with what you have, and God will multiply it. God created the world in phases, so donโ€™t try to do everything at once. Each phase is a foundation for the next, and in doing that, build relationships too. You may not need everyone, but you will need someone. Learn to relate, to serve, to build bridges. The dream may be yours, but the mission is often a team effort. Sow into othersโ€™ dreams because what you make happen for others, God will often make happen for you. Kingdom fruit grows in seasons.

Finally, pray your dream into reality. Dreams are birthed in the Spirit. Saturate your dreams in prayer and let God align your heart, your steps, and timing. This morning, let’s take our dream back to God. Ask Him for instruction, wisdom, and courage to act on them. Remember when He gives a vision, He also gives provision, but only to those who seek, prepare, trust, collaborate, and obey Him.

Prayer point:

Let’s thank God for the Word today. Let’s ask the Father to teach us to seek His instructions and walk in His timing.
