CALL TO PRAYER
Title: Strength For The End Times

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (James 5:16 NKJV)
A soldier would never go to the battlefield without his weapons. He understands that victory depends not only on his presence but also on his readiness for the battle. Likewise, prayer is one of the most powerful weapons God has given to the believer. Through prayer, we communicate with God, receive strength, overcome temptation, and experience His power at work in our lives (Eph. 6:18).
The truth is that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. The word of God points to Elijah as an example. Although Elijah was a prophet, he was also an ordinary man with weaknesses and struggles just like us. Yet God answered his prayers because he prayed earnestly and trusted the Lord completely (1 Kgs. 17:1; 18:42–45). This demonstrates that God is able to do great things through believers who seek Him sincerely in prayer.
We are living in perilous times when many believers are becoming spiritually complacent. The enemy continues to oppose God’s people, seeking whom he may devour (1 Pet. 5:8). For this reason, prayer is not optional; it is essential for every Christian. Jesus Himself warned His disciples, “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation” (Matt. 26:41).
A prayerless believer becomes vulnerable to spiritual attacks, deception, discouragement, and temptation. Prayer strengthens our relationship with God, aligns our hearts with His will, and equips us to stand firm in the midst of trials (Phil. 4:6–7). Through prayer, families are strengthened, lives are transformed, souls are saved, and God’s purposes are accomplished.
As we draw near to God in prayer, He promises to draw near to us (Jas. 4:8). Beloved in the Lord, let us not neglect the place of prayer. May we become believers who watch and pray continually, intercede for one another, and seek God’s face with faith and perseverance. The same God who answered Elijah still hears and answers prayer today (James 5:17 , Heb. 13:8).
Prayer Point:
Let us thank God for the privilege and power of prayer. Let us ask Him to revive our prayer lives, help us remain watchful in these last days, and strengthen us to stand firm against every attack of the enemy through fervent and consistent prayer.
God bless you all.
