32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. Daniel 11:32 NKJV
All through Scripture, we find God using ordinary men to do extraordinary things—exploits. An example of such was Samson, an individual whom God used to defeat the Philistines, fighting alone. We also read of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who through faith subdued kingdoms.
God has used many individuals to accomplish great exploits. Reading through their stories in Scripture, we may think that such exploits were limited to the past. However, from what Daniel wrote in the opening Scripture, God is going to enable men to do exploits in the end time. Daniel 11 speaks prophetically about the end time, indicating that we are going to see God do even greater things through seemingly ordinary people than those recorded in the past.
Now, how do we attract the anointing—the empowerment—for exploits in this end time?
Just as in the past, not everyone was used to accomplish exploits. In the same way, not everyone will be used for exploits in this end time. According to Daniel 11:32, “the people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits.” Therefore, the key to attracting the anointing for exploits is the knowledge of God.
Again, what does it mean to know God?
Scripture says:
“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
1 John 4:8
This means that those who truly know God must walk in love. Therefore, those who walk in love are among those whom the Lord will empower to do exploits in this end time.
Even as Scripture has predicted an increase in wickedness in the end time—“Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12)—those whose love endures will receive the grace and empowerment to do exploits for His name.
The anointing for exploits is not merely about possessing power; it is about knowing God and expressing His nature. As we grow in the knowledge of God and walk in His love, we position ourselves to become vessels through whom He can accomplish extraordinary things.
Prayer Points
- Let us thank God for His Word and for the promise that those who know Him shall be strong and do exploits.
- Let us ask the Lord to deepen our knowledge of Him and help us grow in intimacy with Him.
- Let us ask God to help us walk continually in love, especially in a time when the love of many is growing cold.
- Let us pray for the grace and anointing to become vessels through whom God will accomplish great exploits for His name in this end time.
