And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee. [2] And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me. (Ezekiel 2:1-2 KJV)

Every word of God is powered by his Spirit. Every time God speaks, it is the Spirit that goes to perform his word. It is therefore safe to say that the Holy Spirit is the action personnel of the Godhead.

In Gen. 1:2, one of the reasons the Spirit moved upon the face of the waters was to bring performance to the commanding word of creation as uttered by God. This was the same thing that happened when God told prophet Ezekiel to stand up so he can speak to him and immediately those words were spoken, the Spirit entered into him and set him upon his feet because the spirit of God brings his words to performance.

Consequently, when we become children of God , the same Holy Spirit now dwells in our hearts and that is why whenever we proclaim the word of God in faith and according to his will, the Spirit is bound to bring it to performance. The possibilities of the word of God is empowered by the Spirit of God because the word is alive forever more (Rev. 1:18).

The greatest impartation is in words because there is a spirit backing it. Therefore, when you have found the word of God that addresses your situation, you begin to declare it to yourself in faith and fan it with the energy of the Spirit. For instance, we know that men ought always to pray, and not to faint (Luke 18:1b). So, someone struggling with their prayer life will take the word of God in John 6:63 ( It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.) and use that as an anchor to ask for the empowerment and quickening of the Holy Spirit because it cannot be achieved in the energy of the flesh.

When God gives you a task or calls you into his purpose or assignment, it is the Spirit that enters into you to furnish you with grace to bring such to performance. However, many people have attributed performance to their own abilities and belittle the grace released by the Holy Spirit and thereby became candidates of the spirit of error and subsequently became irrelevant in the agenda of God.

Prayer point:
Letโ€™s thank Him for His word today. Lets pray for grace to live daily by His Spirit for the fulfilment of His plans for our lives.

God bless you!
