But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. (Job 32:8 KJV)

The story of Enoch was quite a mystery for many ages of how he walked with God and was not because God took him. Many years later, Elijah will enter into the same experience only that at this time, Elisha will be present as a witness and will trap down this dimension of the God of Elijah to part river Jordan for him on his way back (2 Kings 2:14). The more we know Him, the more we become like Him and the greater the possibilities.

As a believer, when you begin to seek to know God and understand how he operates, you will attract the attention of heaven. This yearning in your spirit is one of the criteria for your enrolment into the school of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit will begin to teach you and you will begin to know things that no one told you and understand things you cannot explain how you knew them (Jn 14:26).

This mystery however is in degrees. John was already an established student in the school of the Spirit but when deeper things were to be made known unto him, he had to be elevated into a higher realm and he was therefore told to โ€œcome up hitherโ€(Rev. 4:11). This upward journey in the Spirit is limitless as long as we can submit to the demands of the Holy Ghost and not grieve Him.

David, while he was on earth walked in different dimensions through the power of the Spirit so much so that the Holy Spirit enrolled him into an heavenly battle class where his hands were taught to war and his fingers to fight (Ps.144:1). Little wonder he won all his battles because he had been taught superior battle skills that is way above the realms of man.

In our days, there are many people in different classes in this school of the Spirit who God is willing to elevate but are not discerning enough to know what the demand of the Spirit is at this time for their lives. Enoch was not like that because he continued to walk according to the dictates of the Spirit and was so aligned with God that he transited into immortality.

Spiritual knowledge is key to growth in the kingdom and Job transacted with this to become great (Job 29:3-25). The greatest setback in our days is that men have turned from seeking God to seeking things that come from God. When you seek Him with the whole of your heart, your prayer points and desires become a by-product of this communion.

Prayer point:
Father, please help me to know you more as I seek you and help me to discern the voice of the Holy Spirit at every point in my life.

God bless you!
