Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality” (1 Corinthians 15:51-53).

Rapture is one of the scriptural doctrines that have long term been prophesied, it is a great day that has never happened before. Rapture is such a day that embodies the fate of all mankind. It is a glorious day to the believers alive and the death in Christ, however, most terrible day for sinners who rejected Christ and insult the grace of God by living a very careless life. Christ was the first person in the new Testament to hint us about the mysterious day (Matthew 24:30-44).ย  It is also referred to as ‘harvest day’ of believers alive and saints who died in Christ. As Christ told us that no man knows the day, even angels have no clue as to when it will happen except the Father.

The occasion will be the fastest event ever (in a twinkling of an eye) which is faster than the speed of light, where the death in Christ shall hear His voice and resurrect first, then the believers alive will join with them up with our Lord. Indeed, this is a mysterious day accompanied with joyous experience for all saints. For they all shall be changed to immortality, and will meet with the Lord in the sky to reign with Him for many years until great tribulation is over. While the saints are with the Lord, the scripture draws our attention to what will happen to those are left behind (Sinners). There shall be a great tribulation where the beast and anti Christ will fully be manifested, they will establish an empire with great torment, hardship and persecution to those who refuse to accept the ‘mark of the beast’.

There shall be unimaginable suffering and torture on all those who still believe in Christ but could not make the rapture. They shall encounter untold hardships that they have never experienced. Dearly beloved, I plead with us to be firm and sincerely genuine with our confession in Christ, so that we will be among those that will be raptured. We can afford to lose parents, family, loved ones, jobs, success on earth but we cannot afford to miss the RAPTURE. Imagine if after all our Christian battles we miss that day (God forbid)… We should regularly be asking ourselves the question “can I be raptured if Christ should come at this moment”? I pray we all take our relationship with God seriously.

Prayer point:

Let us thank Him for the privilege of having such a timely message. Let us also ask Him to make us ready and prepared for that day.
