Title: Divine Orchestration

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand. (Psalm 37:23-24 NKJV)

The word โ€œDivineโ€ simply means โ€œof or like God.โ€ โ€œOrchestrationโ€ comes from the musical word, โ€œOrchestraโ€ which refers to a large instrumental ensemble; typical of classical music, which combines instruments from different families. An โ€œOrchestraโ€ is simply different musical instruments put together to produce a nice melody. Each musical instrument sounds different and may not even sound good when played alone but when put together, they can generate a very nice melody. Therefore, โ€œDivine Orchestrationโ€ is God putting different things together to work for good in the life of a Believer. This is how God works.

There are so many people in the Bible whose lives were orchestrated by the Lord but the one I love the most is Joseph. I believe we are all familiar with the story of Joseph. He was sold into slavery by his own Brothers out of envy and jealousy. He ended up as a slave in Egypt and was even falsely accused and imprisoned. However, he later rose to become a Governor of Egypt because God was with him (Gen 39-50).

One of the things we can learn from the life of Joseph is that we donโ€™t have to be afraid to dream and even to dream big. The problem with most believers is that when the Lord reveals our future to us and where He is taking us, we tend to evaluate it with our current situation. We then end up thinking that this Dream or Vision is too big and almost impossible to achieve considering our current situation. However, we should know that the Lord who gave us the Vision is also the one who will orchestrate it, and there is nothing too big or too hard for Him. With God, all things are possible (Matt 19:26).

Also, letโ€™s not be afraid to share our God-given Dreams and Visions with the right people (Hab 2:2). Sharing your Dreams and Visions will attract people who share the same Vision to support in its fulfillment. The truth is that God works through people. He will give you favor before men and direct you to people who will help you to rise to where He wants you to be. The fact is that some of these people may leave you at some point, some may reject, rebel, and betray you, and some may stay with you until the Vision is fulfilled.

However, all the rejections, rebellions, and betrayals also play important role in the fulfillment of the Vision. If Josephโ€™s Brothers had not sold him into slavery, he wouldnโ€™t have become a Governor. This is because Joseph was someone who really loved his family and so it would have been very difficult for him to even leave his family and travel to another Country. I know a man of God who became famous through a Book he wrote. According to him, he wrote that Book from the rejections, rebellions, and betrayals he experienced since the beginning of his ministry.

Beloved in the Lord, when things seem to be going contrary to Godโ€™s promise for your life, donโ€™t give up or lose your Faith. The Bible made us understand that God was with Joseph, even during the difficult times and situations he experienced (Gen 39:2,21). All the difficult situations we experience are part of Godโ€™s Orchestration, and He will surely cause all things to work together for your good (Rom 8:28).

Prayer Point:

Letโ€™s thank God for His Word today. Letโ€™s ask the Lord to help all Believers to always trust and obey Him to fulfill His promise and lead us to a perfect end. Letโ€™s also ask the Lord to strengthen all Believers to endure all difficult situations, knowing that He will surely cause all things to work together for our good.

God bless you all
