Title: What Can Separate Us From His Love?
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.ย (Romans 8:38-39 NKJV)
One day, a young man asked this father to give him his share of the Inheritance while the father was still alive. The father did as he asked, and this young man packed all his belongings and left his fatherโs house. He went and wasted all his money in extravagant, luxurious, and dissolute living. He began to starve and had to persuade a farmer to employ him to feed his Pigs so he can get some money for food.
At some point, he realized his mistake and decided to go back to his father and ask for forgiveness, and that the father should just receive him as his servant. When he returned, to his surprise, the father was extremely happy to see him. He forgave him all his sins and received him as his son who was lost but now has been found (Luke 15:11-31).
God loves everyone in the world including the unbelievers (John 3:16). Thatโs why when we were still sinners, he sent His only begotten son to die for us (Rom 5:8). Who would want to die for a sinner? No one! When someone commits murder, we see the way we all point fingers at him and demand justice for the family of the one who was murdered. However, Jesus Christ came to offer Himself as a sacrifice for us when we were still murderers, blasphemers, idolators, adulterers and fornicators.
If He did this for us when we were in the Kingdom of darkness, how much more now that we have become His children and even sons? The love of God is so wide and pure to the extent that He allows the unbelievers who have rejected Him and blaspheme against Him to also enjoy all the natural things He created. His Will is for those who are dead (spiritually) to come back to life. His Desire is for all who are lost to be found (2 Pet 3:9, 1 Tim 2:4).
The plan of the enemy is to deceive you to believe that God doesnโt love you anymore because of that mistake you made. However, by the Grace of God, we are not ignorant of his devices and tricks (2 Cor 2:11). Donโt let him deceive you! Get up today and run back to the Lord and he will warmly embrace you.
We have to know that in the midst of our trials, sufferings, persecutions and difficulties, He still loves us. In the New Testament, Blessing is not only about money, possessions, fruit of the womb, etc. It is a blessing to suffer and be persecuted for the Kingdomโs sake (Matt 5:11-12). After our Lord Jesus endured His suffering, we all know how He has been glorified (Phil 2:5-11). Therefore, if God loves you, He may allow you to go through trials and sufferings so His Glory will be revealed in your life.
Apostle Paul knowing all the sinful acts he committed and yet experienced the love of God, and all the love of God he continued to receive in the course of his Ministry which was filled with persecutions and sufferings, he came to the realization that nothing can separate him from the love of God which is in Jesus Christ(Rom 8:3-39).
Beloved in the Lord, God loves you and thatโs why He sent Jesus Christ to die for you even when you were still a sinner. Nothing can stop Him from loving you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down oneโs life for his friends. Go out today knowing that your heavenly father really loves you!
Prayer Point:
Letโs thank God for His Word today. Letโs ask God to reveal the length, height, and depth of His Love to Unbelievers and Believers around the world.
God bless you all
