Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: andย whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

Proverbs 20:1 KJV

We have come to the end time and satan is filled with wrath because his time is short (Rev. 12:12), and he is venting it on the Church. Though he is an old serpent, his strategy hasn’t changed; the tool of deception is the only weapon in his bag. For this reason, we must seek wisdom from God so we can stand in these last days.

Scriptures affirmed that because people refused to love the truth, God sent them a powerful delusion so that they would believe the lie (2 Thess. 2:11), which was in reference to the activities of the devil in the end time. This means that the activities of the devil will be allowed to carry signs that would make it seem it’s from God, for he was given authority to deceive mankind. Therefore, the difference between that which is true and that which is false will become very little, and only by the wisdom of God can we see this difference and choose the good and reject the evil.

How do we get wisdom? The first thing we need to do to obtain wisdom is to ask God for it. Solomon received wisdom after he asked God for it (1 King 3:1-15). The asking shouldn’t be just one time, we can ask and thank God for wisdom each day because as God increases us, the more wisdom we would need. Another way to obtain wisdom is by meditating on the word. This was what scriptures affirmed when it said “Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good (Isaiah 7:15)”. when speaking about Jesus. Butter and honey represent the word (Psalm 19:10, 55:21), and we eat the word by meditating deeply on it.

Again, when we become more prophetic, we have access to more wisdom from God, for from the mouth of God comes wisdom. Therefore, seeking God and inquiring from Him is a way to access wisdom.

As we ask and thank the Lord for wisdom, spend time in His word and listen to His voice, we grow in wisdom and are equipped to stand in these last days.

Prayer Point

Let’s thank God for His word today. Let’s ask Him to Help the body of Christ increase in wisdom so we can stand in these last days.
