Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.( Ecclesiastes 7:29)

The way God created everything he did was so detailed and so wonderful yet hidden that it has taken all this years by humankind to discover just a little about His marvellous creation. Man has only been discovering what God had done since the foundation of the world and we will never be able to fully phantom or discover it. Everything we call invention or discovery today had already existed, but we only just discovered it.

In the same way, God put in every man what he or she will require to fulfil life and destiny but it will take him a lifetime to find them out just like inventors are still discovering new things till today. There are spiritual gifts or physical attributes that we carry that might start manifesting from the age of ten while others may not be known till adulthood. The children that the Lord will bless us with are already known to Him but we will only discover when they are conceived and birthed. However, we have an advantage in the Holy ghost because He can reveal the future to us today and this will put us in a better place to maximise this phase of our life. For instance, the birth of Samson was revealed by an angel to his parents, so they knew how to raise him to preserve the hand of God upon his life (Judges 13:3-25).

To maximise the seasons of our lives, we need this help of the Holy Spirit to give us revelational advantage. Sometimes, it comes to us in prophecy because God is essentially pointing us to a provision or deposit He has made but we are yet to discover and He wants us to maximise at that phase in our lives or something to watch out for in the future. Daniel was able to secure the attention of heaven in prayer because of the prophecies of Jeremiah on the duration of their captivity.

We must therefore make it a lifetime commitment to partner with the Holy ghost all through our sojourn on this side of the divide to see our destinies fulfilled in every season of our  existence.

Let us thank God for His word today. Let’s pray for the Spirit of revelation so we can discover and maximise every season of our lives.
