Fear is that unsettled feeling you get in your stomach. It’s the panic that can overtake you without notice. Some people, inevitably, are afraid of something, after all, we’re human. (2 Corinthians 1:7)
A fearful person is not going to manifest the kind of life that encourages a sinner to come and ask, “What must I do to be saved?”
Fear keeps the Christian from pleasing God. (Hebrews 11:6)

Causes of fear could be the result of traumatic events, which can lead to lasting fear.

Psalm 27:1 says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
The above verse encourages us to shift our focus from fear to faith, trusting in God’s presence and protection in our lives.
Remember, fear is a natural emotion, but it doesn’t have to control your life. By understanding and addressing your fears, you can overcome them and live a more fulfilling life.
This is the word of God for you today:
Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be frightened, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
PRAYER POINTS
Let’s thank God for His word. Let’s pray for God to exchange our fear for faith, filling us with confidence and trust in Him.
