Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
Exodus 15:11 KJV

 

The wonders of God are boundless and timeless, evident both in ancient times and in our modern era. From miraculous interventions to divine revelations, God’s wonders inspire awe, faith, and gratitude. Whether through biblical accounts or contemporary experiences, God’s wonders remind us of His power, love, and presence in our lives.

God is still in the business of doing wonders. The wonders God wrought in the bible are numerous but I’ll discuss a few to remind us. In Genesis 1:1-31, it was recorded how God created the heavens and the earth, light, life, and all living creatures in six days. This is a wondrous work.

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. (Genesis 1:31)

We saw how God parted the sea to allow the Israelites to escape Egypt.

The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground. Exodus 14:21-22

Jesus fed over 5,000 people with five loaves and two fish.

They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces.
Matthew 14:13-21

Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, defeating sin and death.

He is not here; he has risen! (Luke 24:6)

These wonders can be replicated in our lives when we trust in God and believe He’ll do it.
The effects of the wonders of God are that they increase our faith in God and it evokes gratitude and praise as we recognize His works in our lives.

God is still in the business of doing wonders, yesterday, today, and forever.

 

Prayer Points:

Let’s thank God for His word today. Let’s ask Him to help His people to trust that He is a wonder-working God.
