“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)
There are seasons in life when situations exceed human ability. We plan, try, pray, and still arrive at a point where nothing seems to change. It is often at this very point that God reminds us that impossibility is not a barrier to Him.
A woman prayed for years for a child after doctors said conception was unlikely. Every report said “no,” yet she held on to faith—not because circumstances improved, but because she trusted God. In time, what medicine called impossible became her testimony. This is how God works: He steps in where human strength ends.
Scripture is filled with such moments. Abraham and Sarah were far beyond childbearing age, yet God fulfilled His promise and gave them Isaac. The Bible says Abraham did not stagger at God’s promise but was fully convinced that what God had promised, He was able to perform (Romans 4:20–21). Likewise, when Mary questioned how she could conceive, the angel declared, “For with God nothing will be impossible” (Luke 1:37).
Faith does not ignore reality; it places God above it. To say all things are possible with God does not mean every situation changes instantly, but it assures us that no circumstance is beyond His power, purpose, or timing. What seems delayed is not denied, and what feels impossible is often an opportunity for God to reveal His glory.
Today, whatever stands before you as impossible—healing, provision, restoration, or direction—remember that God is able. Trust Him beyond what you see, and rest in the truth that with God, all things are possible.
