And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons. [2] And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.( Exodus 28:1-2 KJV)

As children of God, we became part of His family and legitimate members of His household when He adopted us through salvation. This process of redemption therefore grants us access to the things that God has kept for our inheritance.

In our text today, We see Aaron representing the present day believer. Every believer has been redeemed to be priests and kings to reign on the earth (

). Also, we see the holy garment of Aaron that is specifically made for glory and for beauty which signifies royalty with holiness. Therefore, every believer has a garment of royalty with holiness when they embrace priesthood. To be kings on earth requires that we have a domain or sphere of governance which indicates the presence of power. This power is accessible in prayers.

A major part of priesthood is the ministry of intercession which we have all been called into (Acts 6:4). Intercession creates a platform for God to intervene in the affairs of men. So, to make it effective, we must focus more on Godโ€™s priority which is establishing His kingdom, expansion of his influence across the nations of the earth and praying for His will to come to pass (Matt. 6:10). When we pray like this, He draws us closer to Himself thereby making us partners in the expansion of His move upon the earth. This intimacy births power, glory and beauty which He has prepared for us as His children.

Prayer point:
Letโ€™s pray that God will envelope us with the Spirit of prayer and supplication as faithful stewards to expand His influence across the earth.

God bless you!
