Eve of Glory
CALL TO PRAYER
Topic: Eve of Glory
By: Daniel Peter
Date: 12.11.2025
โDid not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?โ ย Luke 24:26 NIV
Every glory has an eve โ a season that precedes the manifestation of what God has promised. It is often a time of testing, pruning, and deep surrender. Before the crown comes the cross; before the light of resurrection, there is the darkness of Gethsemane. The Messiah Himself, though the Son of God, did not bypass the path of suffering. He embraced it, for He knew it was the gateway to glory.
Many of us desire to see the glory of God revealed in our lives, but we shrink from the pain that prepares us for it. The โeve of gloryโ is that uncomfortable place where everything seems contrary to what God has said. It is the night before the dawn, the silence before the shout of victory. It is where faith is refined and obedience is proven.
Josephโs prison came before his palace; Davidโs wilderness preceded his throne; and Christโs crucifixion ushered in the resurrection. The same pattern holds true for us. Whatever you are facing today โ the delay, the rejection, the hiddenness โ may just be your eve of glory. Like Jesus, we must demonstrate our trust by surrendering in prayer and yielding in obedience to Him.
See the glory ahead, and do not give up. Hold fast to your faith, for on the other side of this trial is a manifestation of glory greater than you can imagine.
Prayer Point:
Let’s thank God for His word today. Let’s ask Him to strengthen us to endure our eve of glory and to trust Him in the dark moments, knowing that they are only preparing us for the light ahead.
