Title: God Knows Best
By: Stephen Osei Kuffour

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
(Romans 8:28 NKJV)
ย
A few days ago, I had an appointment with the Citizensโ Office in the city where I live. The day before the appointment, I carefully prepared all the required documents and placed them in an envelope. Strangely, just a few hours before the meeting, I forgot where I had placed the envelope. I ended up going without it and was asked to submit the documents later.
However, while searching for the envelope, I came across many other important items that I had thought were lost. That discovery brought me great joy and gratitude.
As Christians, we will often go through seasons of trials and suffering, just as our Lord Jesus Christ did. There are also times when we have to wait longer than expected for the fulfillment of Godโs promises. It’s important that we understand this reality, so weโre not caught off guard when it happens. These periods can be difficult and painful, leading us to wonder why the Lord would allow such things.
The Bible makes it clear that God often allows these seasons to strengthen our faith and to build godly character within us (Rom 5:3โ5). Simply put: God knows best.
Unfortunately, the phrase โGod knows bestโ has become a clichรฉ in many Christian circlesโoften repeated at funerals in Ghana, for exampleโbut rarely taken to heart. Yet it remains a deep and powerful truth. We may not always understand what God is doing at first, but in the end, we will see that He was working all things together for our good (Rom 8:28).
I may not be very old, but Iโve experienced this truth again and again. Over time, Iโve learned to stay calm and trust God through every season.
Beloved in the Lord, if you’re going through a time of trial or uncertainty, know this: God truly loves you. Whatever He doesโor allows to happenโin your life, He does it out of love and for your ultimate good. So, letโs remain faithful and trust Him wholeheartedly. He will surely work everything out for our good. God knows best!
Prayer Point:
Let us thank God for His Word today. Letโs ask the Lord to help all Believers around the world to trust Him and remain faithful, even in times of trials.
God bless you all.
