But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: โ€œGod opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.โ€.
โ€ญโ€ญJames 4:6โ€ฌ โ€ญNIVโ€ฌโ€ฌ

Yesterday, I revealed that though every child of God is acceptable by Him, we all have different measures of grace. The amount of grace one is able to access determines the measure of the blessing that one can manifest. I also went on to reveal that prayer, word study, and giving are different ways we can grow in grace.

Today, I am going to reveal more ways to grow in grace. Scripture says “… God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble (James 4:6).โ€ This means, the more humble we are, the more grace we are given access to. Humility is expressed in different ways, however, it is revealed when we yield in obedience to one another (Phil. 2:5 -11).

Weaknesses are also a means to attract grace. Grace is the help of God, and God’s help is not given to the strong, but the weak. When the Lord told Apostle Paul โ€œMy grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness (2 Cor. 12:9)โ€, this was what He was inferring. Weaknesses make us dependent on God, and the more we are dependent on Him, the more grace He gives to us.

Lastly, thanksgiving is a multiplier. When Jesus fed the multiple, all he did was to bless and thank God for the few fishes and bread (Luke 9:16). When we thank God for what we have been given in Christ and his specific promises to us, more grace is released to us for their manifestation.

Prayer Point

Let’s thank God for His word today. Let’s ask Him to help us grow in grace.
