CALL TO PRAYER

Title: He Is Always With Us

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

(Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV)

The Lord has promised, and He will never fail us. He has given us His Word and we trust and believe Him because He is a God of His Word (Numbers 23:19). The Lord will never leave us nor forsake us, but He will be with us even to the end of this world; when He calls us home or when He comes in His Glory. When the Lord asked Moses to hand over the people of Israel to Joshua, He promised to always be with him and surely Joshua successfully led Israel to the promise land (Deut. 31:6). In the same way, after our Lord Jesus commanded His disciples to go and make disciples of all Nations, He promised to be with them, and we all saw the great and mighty works they did. This same God who did it for Joshua and the disciples has given all of us Assignments and He will surely help us to successfully fulfill them.

Beloved in the Lord, I want you to know that God is with you at all times. In times of peace, joy, trials, pain, persecutions, afflictions, tragedy, hardships, lost of loved ones, lost of Job etc., know that you are not alone. This is because in tough and trial times, you may sometimes wonder if God is with you. Apostle Paul suffered severe persecution; he was being moved from one Prison to another. However, the Lord appeared to him and assured him that He is and has always been with him so he shouldn’t be afraid (Acts 18:10, 23:11).

Maybe you have made some mistakes or have fallen in your Faith, don’t worry, the Lord still loves you. A righteous man will fall seven times, but he will get up again (Prov. 24:16). The arms of the Lord are widely open to warmly welcome you like the Father did for his Prodigal Son (Luke 15).  If you will get up today and run back to Him, He will embrace you, empower you and use you mightily for His Glory. If you will repent and confess your sins, the Lord is faithful and just to forgive all your sins (1 John 1:9).

The evil one wants you to think that God is angry with you, has rejected you and will never forgive you. He keeps filling your minds with evil thoughts condemning you that you don’t deserve to be a child of God. I want you to reject him and those evil thoughts he placed in your mind and he will flee from you (James 4:7). We have to know that when we were sinners, with no relationship with Jesus, the Lord sent His only begotten Son to die for us. How much more now that you are in Christ? That one mistake can’t make God stop loving you.

Beloved in the Lord, God is always with us, He will help us to successfully fulfill every Assignment He has given to us and in times of trial, He will comfort us and cause all things to work for our good.

Prayer Point:

Let’s thank God for His Word today. Let’s ask God to help all Believers around the world to know that He is always with us and He will surely help us accomplish every work He has given to us.
