He will get you there
CALL TO PRAYER

Title โย He will get you thereย
But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, โTeacher, do You not care that we are perishing?โ (Mark 4:38 NKJV)
In todayโs Call to Prayer, we look at a popular story in the Bible in Mark 4:35-41. In this story, Jesus was on a mission to deliver one of the greatest evangelists (the Gadarene demoniac) in the Bible. After several teachings and explanations of parables to the disciples, when evening came, they got into the boat, and Jesus told them to cross over to the other side (the land of the Gadarenes)
When Jesus told them that they should cross over to the other side (Mark 4:35), it did not mean that they would not encounter obstacles on the way. Often the mistake we make is that when a promise comes, the hope of seeing it manifest makes us relax too much. The moment the enemy brings something in the way, we get frustrated and give up. The disciples were in the process of giving up, and if Jesus had not been in the boat, they would have perished as they saw themselves.
The perspective that they held made it seem as though the words of Jesus were false. Jesus promised them that they will get to the other side, however, midway through the journey, they began to doubt whether they will get to the other side. When they invited Jesus into the situation, He turned it around. Today, let this message encourage you. Instead of giving up, why not invite Jesus into the situation?ย ย
It does not matter how things are looking now. Sometimes situations may seem as though you are stuck in your journey. Like the disciples, it may seem as if you are perishing. But today, if you will have the right perspective and see things as God sees them, you will arrive safely at the other side. He who has promised is faithful. He is still in the boat, and He will get you there.
Prayer: Let us pray and thank God for His word today. Let us pray once again that the Holy Spirit will strengthen our faith that no matter the storm that will arise, we will stand on the promise of God in all circumstances.
God bless you all!
