Title: Jesus is coming again

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works

– Matthew 16:27 KJV

Beloved in the Lord, since we just entered the month of August and have about 5 months to the end of the Year 2021, I would like to once again remind you that, Jesus is coming again. He first came as a lamb, but He will return as a Lion. He came to bring Salvation, but He will return with judgement. This is a warning to those who are not saved and believers who are not doing His will. However, it is also an encouragement to believers who are doing His will and living in earnest expectation of His coming. Christ’s second coming will be swift and sudden. There will be no opportunity for last-minute repentance or bargaining. The choice we have already made will determine our eternal destiny.

We don’t know the day or the hour in which He will come.  It could be today or tomorrow or next week or next year, no one knows. The Bible teaches us that, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets, parties, weddings right up to the time Noah entered the Boat and the flood came and swept all of them away. We have to know that even if Jesus doesn’t come today, you will definitely die(physically) one day, and it is appointed unto man to die once and afterwards judgement (Heb. 9:27). There are only two destinations after death and judgment: Heaven or Hell. Heaven is real and so is Hell, don’t be deceived brethren.

Brethren, we will all stand before the Lord and give account. So, let’s be mindful of our way of life and how we spend our limited time on this earth. For we [believers will be called to account and] must all appear before the[a]  judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be repaid for what has been done in the body, whether good or[b] bad [that is, each will be held responsible for his actions, purposes, goals, motives—the use or misuse of his time, opportunities and abilities] (2 Cor 5:10 AMP).

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works (Rev. 20:12 KJV).

Here I am today talking about the second coming of our Lord Jesus while some people have not even heard about His first coming. How can they believe in Him and accept Him as their savior; someone they have not even heard about? How can they hear without a Preacher? Let’s start using every opportunity God brings our way to preach Christ to our friends, family, colleagues, neighbors etc. Many souls will be saved through our prayers and preaching.

Beloved in the Lord, at any moment our Lord Jesus Christ may return. Are you ready? Are you living according to His Will? Is He your Lord and personal savior? Are your sins forgiven? Is He going to find a person of love, truth, and Faith? Don’t be so engrossed to this temporary world because Jesus is coming again!

Prayer Point:

Let’s thank God for the Gift of Salvation. Let’s pray for salvation of souls all around the world. Let’s also ask God to make all Believers/ Christians heavenly-minded and help us live our lives in earnest expectation of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
