For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, [3] if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked.( 2 Corinthians 5:2-3 NKJV)

We have in our societies today men and women with unexplainable issues and because a lot of people do not realise the root cause, they focus alone on eradicating the visible symptoms through therapy leaving the roots beneath to sprout again. Some do not even go this far before throwing in the towel. The suicide rate is going off the roof because the enemy stole something from them and they feel naked and ashamed. The mind is the first place symptoms start to show that something is wrong which is not normal.

We must be spiritually aware of the ministry of the enemy to steal, to kill and to destroy (Jn 10:10). This can happen physically, maritally, spiritually, financially and in many other ways. When the covering of God over a life is taken away, it can bring about shame, failure, confusion, mental blockage, foolishness etc. These negative attributes drive destiny helpers away from them and they might start withdrawing from people, feel spiritually dry, make mistakes, and lose self-confidence.

The most common cause of nakedness among others is disobedience as we see in the life of King Saul (1 Sam. 15). The resulting consequences stripped him naked that he developed mental health issues and lost his confidence, looking to kill David till his final day on earth.

We must jealously keep our garments from being stolen or destroyed. For anyone who feels naked, there is still hope. Don’t give up because there is a way out. There is a restoration agenda that God is working among His people to restore all they have lost to the enemy ( Joel 2:25). This is accessible by crying for mercy (Mark 10:47-49) and praying to be clothed again with the garment from heaven(2 Cor. 5:2-3).

Prayer point:

Let us thank God for His word today. Let us pray to be clothed with our heavenly garment at all times and reject any form of nakedness in our lives.
