Title: Setting boundaries

I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness: (Ecclesiastes 7:25 KJV)
As a young boy growing up, I discovered I was curious to know a lot of things and also understand the things I didnโt have an explanation for. Many times, I will stare at the stars at night and wonder why some were arranged in a particular pattern and others differently; whether there is a reason for it. I would ponder, watch or read about different things like palmistry, reincarnation, near-death experiences, and many other things including how mediums work just to gain insight into things outside this realm. I loved science and philosophy to the extreme in a bid to satisfy my appetite for superior wisdom. I almost missed Jesus while looking for wisdom in the wrong places.
King Solomon, the wisest man that ever lived had access to wisdom in different realms because of his endowment via the encounter he had. He sought wisdom everywhere and didnโt care to stay within the boundary of Godโs knowledge and he will later in his life turn away from following the Lord and his heart will be turned to many strange women and he will serve their gods and it was recorded that he did evil in the sight of the Lord (1 Kings 11:1-6).
God set a boundary for Adam and he was instructed not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil even though the tree was pleasant to the eyes and has the capacity to make one wise (Gen. 3:6). The moment he ate it and crossed the boundary, death entered and the whole of mankind was implicated and missed out on the tree of life that would have given us immortality.
As enticing as these types of wisdom spoken of above may seem (with some of them being diabolical), it is not prescribed for a child of God. The scriptures in Philippians 4:8 says โFinally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. โ. Many started their journey of love with the Lord like Solomon but must learn to stay within the boundary of Godโs knowledge and wisdom to avoid being polluted by satan.
Prayer point:
Letโs thank God for His love towards us and Letโs pray for ย His guidance to stay within His prescribed boundaries and not seek the wisdom of this world which brings pollution and death.
God bless you!
