For some weeks now, we have been talking about “The Art Of Evangelism”. We have learnt that one of the main reasons why many Believers don’t commit to Evangelism is because they don’t know how to go about it. I therefore shared some of the ways we can use to evangelize: starting with Prayer, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, sharing our story of salvation, preaching the love and judgement of God. Today, I would like to conclude by sharing other ways and approaches we can use to evangelize.

The word of God makes us understand that we are the light of the world (Matt 5:14). One thing light does is that it shows the way and also attracts men to itself. Let’s therefore shine our lights in this dark world so many can see our good works and also give their lives to Christ (Matt 5:16).

We can achieve this by living our lives in total obedience to God and His word, living a life of love for God and for all men (Matt 12:37, Jn 13:34-35). The truth is that most unbelievers are watching us and the way we live. Some are even watching from afar. When we shine our lights, they will be attracted to us out of curiosity, and this could be an open door of opportunity to preach the Gospel to them.

After preaching the Gospel and the Holy Spirit convicts the people to believe the Gospel, you can help them to affirm their Faith in Christ by confessing Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior (Rom 10:9-10). Finally, thank God for their salvation and for counting you worthy as a vessel to help build His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven (1 Tim 1:12). Let’s make sure to follow up on these new Brethren to ensure that they grow spiritually so they don’t go back to the world.

Beloved in the Lord, there are many different ways and approaches we can go about evangelism. One of them is through the way we live: living a life of love for God and men. However, there are many more. We just have to be sensitive and obedience to the Holy Spirit and the open doors of opportunities that the Lord will bring your way. Make yourself savior of men!

Let’s thank God for His word today. Let’s ask Him to help all believers to be saviors of men and also open doors and opportunities for us to preach the Gospel.
