Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went. (John 6:21 KJV)

As a little child growing up, one of the games that fascinated me was rearranging complex random puzzle pieces together to form a whole picture. It reflects how after going through many rigorous thought process, one final piece will get you to the perfect picture you’ve longed for.

In our text today, we see the disciples willingly receiving Jesus into their ship and immediately he stepped in, time stopped and they all instantly teleported to the other side with the elements of time and distance not having control over them. This is what happens when we willingly bring in Jesus into our situation, He becomes that one piece that gets us to the destination instantly.

What situation of life are you dealing with that is causing you sleepless nights? What is making you cry secretly and getting you depressed or afraid? Or are you sick in your body? Jesus knows all about your worries and he will get you to that expected end that you so desire. As long as you are alive, there is hope you will get to that destination of quick recovery in your health, resolution of your life’s problems and give you peace of mind.

Jesus speaking about Mary in Luke 10:42 said “one thing is needful and Mary has chosen that good part…..” One thing that I needful is that you have to willingly let him into your worries and pains and pour it out to him not holding back. Take time today to have a sincere heart to heart conversation with Jesus and be specific about your fears and worries and request that He gets you to the other side. Completely focus on Him with no alternatives and He will come through and make you happy again. Be rest assured that even though weeping may endure for a night, joy will come in the morning. Begin to enjoy divine speed as you bring Him into your ship. It’s a great day for you.

Prayer point:

Let’s thank God for His word. Let’s pray that the instant wonders of Christ will be manifest in our lives with proofs and it will become a sickle to draw souls into the kingdom.
