Years ago, I saw a miracle happen to someone I know for the first time. She had a club foot (her feet were both bent inwards) since childhood, and she has been walking with the outer side of her feet. At a church programme we went to, the club foot straightened, and for the first time, she could walk with her feet flat to the ground. That experience never left me, and it created a consciousness of the mighty power that God has to do the impossible.

All around us, we see God’s mighty power in the lives of people and somehow take it as a normal occurrence. It is supposed to wake something in us that, with men, this can be impossible, but with God, all things are possible. There is no closed case or chapter with the almighty, and He alone can visit the valley of dry bones and raise up a great army from there (Eze. 37:1-10).

You might have been through battles of life, and you have been wounded emotionally, mentally, or spiritually, and it may look like you are broken beyond repair. Even if your identity and honour have been destroyed like Samson’s when his hair was shaved off, the God of possibilities still has the capacity to make that hair grow again. You can be healed of every brokenness, and you can live to your full potential again. Don’t give up because of the broken marriage; He is able to make your life whole again.

If a notorious murderer like Saul can be encountered by God and changed into Paul the apostle (Acts 9:1-6), your life is not too shattered for him to put back into a better position. Every family disadvantage or limitation that you have inherited, like Jabez, can be turned into a glorious testimony. As long as it is according to his will, there is no hopeless situation he can not turn around.

Prayer point:

• Let us thank God for His word today.
• Let us ask the Lord to visit us and turn impossible situations around for us.
