Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying. (Ezra 1:1 KJV)

In spiritual matters, there are laws and protocols that guide the operation of things and events donโ€™t just happen haphazardly. For instance, when the word of God goes forth through the mouth of His prophets, He will use kings to confirm it. Kings can be rulers, decision makers in authority, captains of industries, your boss in the office or leaders in your sphere.

There might have been prophecies over your life that have come from the mouth of the Lord and you have been waiting to see them come to fulfillment. Wisdom will demand that you begin to contend and war in prayers to birth the fulfillment of such prophecy (Deut. 2:24). Because you are warring in prayers, the Lord will stir the heart of the king concerning your matter and the events that needs to happen to arrive at the end point will kick-start. According to the protocol, a king will need to be involved to bring it to fruition even if that king is Pharaoh. Even though, David was anointed, he was a nobody until Saul gave him permission to go fight Goliath, that was when his glory came alive (1 Sam. 17:37).

In our text today, we see the Lord stirring the up the heart of King Cyrus and made him restless because the word of God from the mouth of Jeremiah must be fulfilled. Understanding spiritual protocols and laws will help us a great deal in prosecuting priesthood and maximizing destiny. However, if you are in the position of a king, know for sure that God is interested in you to bring His purpose and counsel to pass. When you are led by the Spirit of God, act quickly without delay and like Cyrus, the Lord will hold your hand up, subdue nations before you, and open unto you the two leaved gates that cannot be shut (Isa. 45:1).

Prayer point:
Letโ€™s thank God for today. Let us pray that God will stir the hearts of kings concerning the prophecies that had gone forth over our lives to bring them to fulfillment.

God bless you.
