That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, [19] And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. (Ephesians 3:17,19 KJV)

Many today have turned God to a bureau de change where they can always bring their problems and exchange it for answers with little or no care for a genuine relationship with Lord. Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment was while teaching and his response was โ€œ ……thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mindโ€ (Matt 22:37). Our depth of love for God defines how far we will go in our walk with Him and in fulfilling our destiny in Christ.

The Bible tells us to ask in faith when we pray (Jam. 1:5-6) but faith works by love (Gal. 5:6). This means that even when we pray in faith, it has to come from a heart that carries Godโ€™s love to receive an answer because prayer is subject to faith and faith is subject to love. Without the sincere love of God in our hearts, we are but deceivers. Love grants you access to unlimited revelations and this puts you above and beyond every of lifeโ€™s circumstances.

Everything works by love and love never fails. Growth in the kingdom is achieved by loving Him and that is when God dwells in us and manifests himself to us (John 14:21). Nothing guarantees his presence like love and when he is with us, every door opens because of his presence. Also, God will always defend his lovers by building an edge of protection even when they are not aware, he never sleeps nor slumbers.

King Solomon started his walk with the Lord on the platform of love (1Kings 3:3) and God gave him more than he asked for and he enjoyed divine wisdom above all human beings before him during his time on earth. This is the kind of access available to every believer whose desire is to love God wholeheartedly and not out to just use him for what he has to give. Give him your heart today in love and enjoy his endless presence in your life.

Prayer point:
Letโ€™s thank Him for His word today. Lets ask him to fill our hearts with his love and that his presence should become our motivation for seeking him.
