My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.ย (Proverbs 1:10 KJV)

In the world of business, be it entertainment, fashion, media, banking, manufacturing, logistics etcetera, one common way they all subscribe to drive growth and consistent income is through marketing and advertising of their products and services so that the prospective consumers or end users will have a sustained image on their mind because human beings think in pictures. This marketing/advertising strategy is usually carried out by staff or agents representing such organisations.

In spiritual warfare also, one of the ways to sustain consistent growth in the kingdom of darkness is through marketing and advertisement of sin in a well-packaged and enticing manner that it will be hard to resist. For instance, an average movie with a catchy storyline will most times through the demonic marketing strategy have an erotic scene embedded somewhere and what that does is that the image sticks and keeps replaying in your head, and the devil will certainly present an opportunity to act it out in due time.

What do you do when you are advised to just change your age and doctor your CV deceitfully to get the job of your dreams? Sin looks good when it is presented by these marketers and if you are not adequately standing in the word of God, you might fall(1 Cor. 10:12). An average believer is oblivious to the fact that we are always in contention with the world of darkness as they strive to gain more territories and dominate (Eph. 6:12).

It is the Holy Ghost that gives us power over sin and it is one of the evidence to look out for to know He lives in us. We, therefore, need to commit to fellowshipping with Him through consistent regimented prayers and the study of the word so as not to fall for the marketing strategies of the enemy when he packages sin to entice us. By doing this, we will consistently live above sin no matter the way it comes.

Prayer point:
Let us thank God for today. Let us pray for empowerment and grace to always stand for righteousness and to remain without spot nor wrinkle.

God bless you!
