For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.ย  (Romans 8:38-39 NKJV)

In Luke 15, our Lord Jesus Christ tells the parable of the prodigal sonโ€”a powerful picture of Godโ€™s immense love for us. The truth is, God loves everyone in the world, including unbelievers (Jn 3:16). Thatโ€™s why, even while we were still sinners, He sent His only begotten Son to die for us (Rom 5:8).

Now, think about this for a moment: who would willingly die for a sinner? Probably no one. In our society, when someone commits a serious crime like murder, we all demand justice. But Jesus Christ did the unthinkableโ€”He offered Himself as a sacrifice while we were still murderers, blasphemers, idolaters, adulterers, and fornicators.

If He loved us this much while we were still in darkness, how much more now that we have become His children and heirs? God’s love is so vast and pure that He even allows those who reject and blaspheme Him to enjoy the natural blessings He created. His will is that those who are spiritually dead will come back to life. His desire is that all who are lost would be found (2 Pet 3:9; 1 Tim 2:4).

The enemyโ€™s plan is to deceive you into thinking that God has stopped loving you because of a mistake you made. But by Godโ€™s grace, we are not ignorant of Satanโ€™s schemes (2 Cor 2:11). Donโ€™t fall for his lies. Rise up and return to your Fatherโ€”He is waiting with open arms.

As believers, we must also remember that even in the midst of trials, suffering, and persecution, God’s love remains steadfast (Romans 8:38-39). In the New Testament, blessing is not only measured by wealth, possessions, or having children. It is also a blessing to suffer for the sake of the Kingdom (Matt 5:11โ€“12). After Jesus endured His suffering, we know how greatly He was glorified (Phil 2:5โ€“11). Likewise, if God loves you, He may allow you to go through trials so that His glory may be revealed in your life.

Beloved in the Lord, God loves you deeply. Thatโ€™s why He sent Jesus Christ to die for you even while you were still a sinner. Nothing can separate you from His love. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down oneโ€™s life for his friends (Jn 15:13). Go out today with confidence, knowing that your heavenly Father truly loves you.

Prayer Point:

Letโ€™s thank God for His Word today. Letโ€™s ask God to reveal the length, height, and depth of His Love to all Unbelievers and Believers around the world.

God bless you all
