These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. (Genesis 6:9 KJV)

For several generations till now, ordinary men and women who yielded themselves to the dictates of God have entered into strange dimensions and mysteries in the supernatural because of their alignment with heaven. God is always looking for a man who will be aligned with His agenda upon the earth and then manifest Himself through such vessel as He so desires.

In our text today, Noah was such a man that was in alignment with God eventhough he had every reason to join the corruption going on around him and blend with the multitude. He could have decided to also take the shortcut like others or imagine evil and wicked ways to prosper but the scriptures referred to him as a just man who is perfect in his generations because he walked with God. He did not only know God, he submitted to His leading and walked with the most high. He made God his shepherd and today, he is listed among the heroes of faith.

One of the things to take into account in his walk was that he believed God wholeheartedly eventhough, the destruction that God talked about was inconceivable at the time since it had never happened before. Secondly, he moved with fear at God’s command due to his reverence for the Almighty (Heb 11:17). Today, God is still looking for men and women who will submit to His leadings and walk with Him. People who will obey His instructions even when it does not seem logical to the human brain and who will love and reverence His majesty. These are the breed that will be qualified to worship Him in Spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

Prayer point:
Let’s thank God for His word. Let’s pray for a fresh outpouring of His Spirit that brings alignment to come upon the church so He can manifest Himself through us.
