CALL TO PRAYER
Title: What Does God Say About You?

For we [believers will be called to account and] must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be repaid for what has been done in the body, whether good or bad [that is, each will be held responsible for his actions, purposes, goals, motivesโthe use or misuse of his time, opportunities and abilities]. ย (2 Corinthians 5:10 AMP)
Last week, I saw in the news that a famous celebrity had passed away. He was a gifted musician who released many successful albums and positively impacted countless lives with his music. During the report, various people who had worked with him were interviewed, and almost everyone had something good to say about him.
As I watched, one thought kept coming to mind: โEveryone is speaking well of him, but what does God say about him?โ
The Word of God makes it clear that one day, we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ and give an account of how we livedโhow we used our time, our opportunities, our abilities, and what we did with the life God gave us (2 Cor 5:10). In the end, it is not what our family, friends, or society say about us that truly matters. What matters is what God says.
Knowing this, it becomes even more important to live a life that is pleasing to God. If you donโt have a relationship with the Lord, now is the time to accept His gift of salvation and dedicate your life fully to Him (Jn 3:16). If youโre already a Believer, this is the time to remain faithful, walk in obedience, and diligently fulfill every assignment He has placed in your hands.
Donโt be discouraged by mockers or skeptics who say Jesus will not return (2 Pet 3:3โ4). God is always true to His WordโHe will return. Even if Christ does not come in your lifetime, your life on earth will still one day end, and after that comes judgment (Heb 9:27).
Beloved in the Lord, each one of us will stand before God and give account. Let us live intentionally and purposefully, in a way that honors Himโnot for the praises of men, but for the approval of our Creator. Let us strive to live so that, when our time comes, God will say, โWell done, good and faithful servant.โ What does God say about you?
Prayer Point:
Letโs thank God for His Word today. Letโs ask God to help all Believers around the world to remain faithful and live a life that is pleasing to Him.
God bless you all.
