“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lordโ€”plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11

Life can sometimes feel stagnant, with no clear progress, or maybe life keeps throwing stones at you, but no matter what life throws at you, it will become your divine upliftment because your best is yet to come. So quit mourning, pitying yourself, or getting depressed.

Who knew that Ruth would become the grandmother of Jesus Christ? She lost everything except her faith in the God of Naomi, yet she became a woman to be reckoned with. Likewise, Saul, a murderer, became Paul, a tool in God’s hand.

As believers in Christ, we can hold onto the truth that God is not done with us yet. He has a plan for each of us, and that plan is good.

In Jeremiah 29:11, God spoke directly to His people, who were in exile, despite their circumstances. He reminded them of His plan to give them hope and a future. This also reminds us that even in our season of waiting and hardship, God’s plans are still in motion. What we see as a delay, God sees as preparation, or what we see as a setback, God sees as a setup for something greater.

No matter how things may look now, God is working behind the scenes, preparing opportunities and aligning events for our good. Trust that your best days are not behind you but ahead. Embrace each day with hope and expectation. Know that your past does not define your future, and where you are today is not where you will always be. God’s promises are sure, and He is faithful to complete the work He began in you. Always remember (Romans 8:28, Philippians 1:6).

Prayer Points:

Let’s ask God to help us trust in His timing for us. Let’s also ask God to strengthen our faith in Him and help us walk in confidence, knowing He is working all things for our good.
