“Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” Proverbs 24:3-4

At a point in the life of Jesus, it was said of Him that He was growing in wisdom.
He was found in the temple, sitting among the teachers — listening and asking questions.
The future Teacher of Israel humbled Himself among the doctors of the law. He made Himself subject to them, listened attentively, and asked thoughtful questions.

This shows us something vital:
Listening and asking questions are necessary for knowledge. But to gain wisdom, one must study.

After Joshua was given wisdom through the laying on of hands, God’s instruction to him was:
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night.” Joshua 1:8

Wisdom is essential to your field, your calling, and your specific assignment.
Never take it lightly, or you will remain hidden — like a lamp placed under a bushel. Matthew 5:15

Later, people were astonished at His wisdom. Mark 6:2
The same can be said of you when you pursue wisdom diligently.
