CALL TO PRAYER
Title: Faith That Lives

Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. ย (James 2:17 NKJV)
A tree is recognized by the fruit it produces. No matter how large or healthy it may appear outwardly, if it bears no fruit, its condition becomes questionable. In the same way, genuine faith in Christ is expected to produce visible evidence in the life of the believer. The word of God teaches that faith without works is dead because true faith always results in action, obedience, and transformation.
Many people claim to believe in God, yet their lives show little evidence of spiritual fruit. Genuine faith is more than words, emotions, or outward religious activities. True faith changes the heart and influences the way a person lives, speaks, treats others, and responds to Godโs Word. While salvation comes by grace through faith and not by human works (Eph 2:8โ9), a truly saved life will naturally produce the fruits of righteousness and obedience.
The truth is that good works do not save us, but they reveal the reality of our faith. A believer who truly walks with Christ will desire to love others, forgive, help those in need, pursue holiness, and obey the commandments of God. The word of God reminds us that faith that remains inactive and produces no spiritual fruit is lifeless. The faith that God desires is living faith โ faith that moves us to action and reflects the character of Christ in our daily lives.
This does not mean believers are perfect or without weakness, but it means there should be evidence of spiritual growth and transformation through the work of the Holy Spirit. Our Christianity should not only be heard through our words but also seen through our conduct, compassion, humility, and obedience. The world should be able to see Christ reflected in the lives of His people (Matt 5:16).
Beloved in the Lord, let us examine our hearts and ask whether our lives truly reflect the faith we profess. May our faith not remain only in words, but may it be demonstrated daily through love, obedience, service, and devotion to God.
Prayer Point:
Let us thank God for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Let us ask the Lord to help us live out our faith daily through obedience, love, holiness, and good works that glorify His Name.
God bless you all.
