“…Let the weak say, I am strong.” — Joel 3:10 (KJV)

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus operates by faith. Because faith is fundamentally a speaking force, the reality of life in Christ is activated and sustained by what we declare. As Scripture reminds us, “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13). Believing and speaking are inseparable; true faith cannot remain silent.

We see this principle demonstrated from the very beginning of our walk with God. We were born again when we believed in our hearts and confessed with our mouths that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9–10). If receiving eternal life began with what we declared, then manifesting every blessing of that salvation remains tied to what we say. As the Lord declared in Numbers 14:28, “As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.” God moves upon the sound of our alignment with His truth. Therefore, as believers, our words must consistently reflect what we desire to see manifest—because in the kingdom of God, we possess what we confess.

Consider the testimony of a minister who endured a prolonged illness. For nearly two years, he was so physically depleted that he could barely pray or read the Scriptures. Yet, he continued to minister faithfully, keeping his physical struggles between himself and God.

One day, a demon-possessed girl was brought before him for deliverance. In the natural, he felt completely drained and powerless, painfully conscious of his inability to pray as he used to. Nevertheless, he looked past his physical condition and proceeded to pray.

As he ministered, the demon cried out through the girl: “Why are you doing this to us? Is it because you are stronger than we are?”

The minister was astonished. He thought to himself: Even in this state, Christ in me is still stronger than you? His faith ignited, and he ministered with newfound boldness, casting the spirit out. Had this pastor held back because of physical weakness or natural feelings, he would have missed being an instrument of God’s power. Jesus affirmed this exact authority in Mark 11:23 when He said that whoever tells the mountain to be removed, and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will come to pass, “he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Do not speak your physical sensations; speak what the Lord has accomplished in Christ. Declare your healing, your divine strength, and your victory. Grace has been given to you to see manifest whatever you boldly confess in faith.
